Welcome to my small space on the internet :)
Hi I am Janhavi Gawhale, UX designer who loves creating simple, thoughtful experiences.
I began my journey at a design agency, where I worked on web design and branding projects. That experience taught me the importance of consistency, storytelling, and how even the smallest details can influence trust and shape a user’s overall experience.
Currently, I’m exploring the world of aviation technology at SITA, designing for products ranging from baggage tracking to flight and airport operations. Working with complex enterprise systems has helped me understand how to simplify workflows and create tools that are both efficient and intuitive for real operational teams.
Outside of design, I enjoy café hopping, traveling, backpacking, hiking, experimenting in the kitchen, occasionally vlogging, creating content, and spending time with dogs.

Designing for Aviation Operations

About me
I’m a designer who believes good design should feel simple, human, and almost invisible the kind that makes life easier without demanding attention.
I grew up in a place where UX design wasn’t really a known path. In college, I found joy in making videos and promoting small events playing with visuals and stories that connected with people. That curiosity for what makes people click slowly led me toward design.
I realized along the way that design isn’t only about looks. It’s about empathy, problem-solving, and creating things that genuinely help people.
Since then, I’ve worked on aviation, operations, and data-heavy platforms. My goal has always been simple to take something complex and technical, and make it feel clear, human, and intuitive.
Every project reminds me that the best design is thoughtful and quiet, and that’s exactly where I feel at home.
